Ah yep, sounds like the tiny little pin that hold the two parts of the valve sheared . Not the end of the world here. Ya don't even have to drain all the oil out . Remove the drawbar support , remove the linkage and top nut from the valve stem place a bucket under the bottom of the pto to cautch the little oil you will loose when ya pull the valve out and once the valve is out just put the plug back in finger tight . It is nice to get TWO of them little pins and i keep two in the glove box of my truck held between masking tape WITH PIN written on it . Now the down side of this barnyard repair is that you do not have the test fitting to reset lock up pressure. and a gauge that will read up to 600Lbs. You can order that fitting from Case I H and i have posted the part # several times . So if your going to own a 06 series and up I H having that fitting and gauge is a plus in the tool box . Set PTO clutch pressure with the Hyd. oil at operating temp at about 150 -180 degrees and set to 235 for a 706 , yea yea i know the book only calls for 195 to 215 the higher pressure i feel is better and ya ain't going to slip the clutch pac.
