DO NOT go to a straight 20 wt oil at any time for any reason!
It is MORE important to change it, than worry about brand.
Personally,if I run SAE 30(like I do now)I add aZinc additive .
If I would run 15 40 Rotella,(which I am not afraid to do) I would not add anything. General consensus is a lot of people are running the Rotella in everything.Gas or Diesel.
