Paul, Yes, everything will work except the light bulbs and the generator. The generator can be converted to 12V and then will charge the battery fine. The bulbs will have to be replaced anyway since they're blown. As long as you don't grind away on the starter for more than a few seconds at a time it will work fine on 12V. If you need to run it longer than a few seconds, allow it to cool down before using it again or the insulation in the field coils and armature will overheat and break down, making an expensive repair necessary. One more thing, if the tractor has a distributor ignition, you will need to have a dropping resistor in the wire going to the coil from the battery to keep the coil from burning out. If it has a magneto, nothing else is required, as the magneto does not use battery power. Phil
