Just wanted to update you all. Look for older posts for more info... if you see something I might be missing please let me know. Super excited about this epic 560 project. goal is still RPRD this summer!
-All the sheet metal is done, including LOTS of smaller parts. Turned out amazing to say the very least! This included the front & rear weights too.
-We did end up removing the head and sending it out. Will replaced oil pan gasket too since we have come this far. Pistons & cyl's look great!
-Both rims over to shop getting sandblasted & powder coated. Will be reinstalled with new tubes on my like new Firestone tires. Plan is to re-mount them after chassis gets out of paint shop.
-In processes of removing both frame rails.... sand blasting, priming & reinstalling.
- We will have motor back together within couple weeks.... then it's off to sand blaster to get tractor done and off to paint!!
