My 1939 Farmall M is fitted with three point linkage. My grandfather fitted a Super AM / Super AMD gearbox lid and drawbar setup, which accommodate the three point linkage cylinder and arms. A fairly easy and very neat way to fit three point linkage and the equipment is all genuine IH. I bought a Farmall H and was wondering if a later tractor with three point linkage had the same gearbox housing/frame which could take a later two piece gearbox lid set up for three point linkage. The arrangement would be neater than having equipment bolted on the outside of the tractor as well creating fewer obstacles for climbing on and off the tractor.
