An LLC needs a shipping address other than a PO Box. It also needs a separate computer and ISP. That means I have to spend time in a library in an adjacent town to be safe. It would also need a new banking account or credit card, PayPal account with verification, and new eBay account. It's all too much work to do business with an idiot who will use his block bidder option with no discretion but with plenty of impunity.
I would imagine his block bidder's list is huge. Might be approaching the 5000 person limit. It is probably the single largest factor for his 99.6 feedback rating. Nobody gets a chance to "Neg" him twice, and in most cases, even once. He will pre-emptorily zap a buyer for nearly no cause.
Now I understand why eBay won't allow me to use another account after one has been blocked. If I was so inclined, I could make an unlimited number of purchases and "neg" them all. I do feel lucky that I'll get another crack at his feedback on Saturday.
Meanwhile, his bidder's pool is dwindling and he is nearly giving away the store to those who can still bid. You gotta wonder if dealer's are buying his stuff and relisting to people like me who have been blocked. I wonder how long he can keep this up? There is another Michigan guy who is starting to use the Marty Model with $9.99 opening bids.
