One-wire alternators are "speed parts" for custom cars. You should be able to simply ask for a one-wire Delco 10SI alternator at the auto parts store.
Like others have said, NO production car has ever been equipped with a one-wire alternator from the factory.
Do NOT put a 12V Delco generator on there as someone else suggested. You are not eliminating any of the problems, like the regulator that wants to constantly flake out, like the complicated wiring...
