It does sound right, but reversing may not be necessary, depending on where your wheels are now.
On the A/B/BN series there are 8 possible tread widths in which your rears are in the same configutration on both sides.
Take a look at your rear running gear. Two obvious things to notice. First is that your wheels are dished. Turning that dish in or out on the hub is one big adjustment. The next is that the lugs that bolt the rims to the wheeel are offset (off-center). Choosing which side of the lug to bolt to the wheel is your other big adjustment. So there's four adjustments.
The other four are less readily apparent, and rely entirely on whether the lugs on the rims are bolted to the inside or the outside of the wheels.
The Owner's Manual has a handy chart detailing the tread widths available in each configuration.
