Cubs have their place... simply trying to illustrate how much difference there is in the two tractors... the Cub is a toy by comparison.
I'm convinced my dad bought the Cub at that time for me to learn how to drive a tractor. I would have been 5 years old and the first things I remember doing with it were pulling a flare box wagon when Dad was combining oats and pulling the rope on the hay fork (the one on a track in the top of the barn). When the local IH dealer's building burned, there was a Cub mounted plow in one corner that did not get burned too bad. Dad bought it to plow the garden, but never used it. In the time it took to mount it, he had it plowed with a two bottom. I pretty much got to drive it around as much as I wanted as a 5 - 7 year old kid. It was handy for doing some chores, but the C was just as handy and did way more real farm work.
