At the bell housing, an H will mate up to a 460. Same for an M and a 560.
Once you get away from that lineage, all bets are off. Basically anything after 1963 is a completely different animal except for the 656/666/686 line.
Definitely not a 484. Those are "frameless" tractors made in Doncaster England. Completely different family of tractors. Nothing mates up except to newer/older versions of the 484 (i.e. 464, 485, 495, 3210).
It CAN be done but it's all fabrication. Personally I would use a bigger 4-cylinder diesel than one out of a 484.
...and where would they use a little 35HP diesel in a garbage truck???
