I recently acquired a 1951 Farmall Super C with a Zenith carburetor. The previous owner had left gasoline in the carburetor for about 5 years. I was able to take the carburetor all the way apart except for two parts: the Jet - Well Vent and Jet - Main.. Someone before me had tried to take these jets out and has stripped them. The smaller jet (Well vent) I was able to clear out and does not seem to be plugged anymore. Do I still need to get it out? The bigger one ( Jet - Main) I can not seem to "open" up. What is my next course of action? E-Z out? Left handed drill bit? I have ordered two carburetor kits and between the two I have all the parts except for the larger jet (Jet - Main). Where can I find this or should I just abandon and buy a new carb? Any input would be appreciated.
