I was using my IH 1586 on a JD 30 ft field cult when it stopped dead in the field. The motor runs fine, all hydrolics work fine. I can put it in any gear and it will not move including reserse. The TA can be on or off still no moving it on its own. Whats should I look for? A friend of mine who helped me pull it home thaught that the clutch pedal pushed a little to easly and thaught the clutch was out. Today I hooked a chain on it with my Ford 545 loader tractor and pulled the 1586 ahead when the tractor was in park. I had the RPM very low, in first gear in the 545 when I pulled wanting not to hurt anything else in the 1586. The 1586 pulled very easly ahead. the tractor motor was not running. The person in the 1586 said he could here a light ticking sound when I pulled it. So instead of a bad clutch maybe I have a bad transmission. Or my clutch is out and I took out my parking gear pulling it? OH Well. Any Ideas. Thank you and have a great day.
