JUST BOUGHT A COMPRESSION TESTER FOR 15 BUCKS AT PEP BOYS. THE DIRECTIONS SAY TO GROUND OUT DIST OR MAG SO IT WONT START ON YOU. TAKE OUT ALL SPARKPLUGS AND TURN ENGINE OVER 3 OR 4 TIMES, THE GAGE SHOULD GO UP A BIT ON EACH STROKE UNTIL IT STOPS AND THATS YOUR READING . THE ENGINE SHOULD BE WARMED UP PRIOR AND YOUR CARB SHOULD BE ALL THE WAY OPENED. MY H SHOULD BE BETWEEN 80 AND 115 . AND NO CYLINDER SHOULD DIFFER MORE THEN 10% FROM THE REST. HOPE THIS HELPS SPEED BUMP
