Garry, I was at the same stress point on my first tractor wiring job and Bob M who posts on this forum "spoon fed" when necessary but this isn't like trying to walk on the moon. I would suggest a couple of things, one of which is to find Bob M's wiring diagrams (some PC expert will probably post a direct link for you) on this forum for your tractor. And as noted by Harold Evans in his post the type of alternator you have will make a difference. Another thing which I did being inexperienced in the task was to only do one wire at a time and follow the diagram to a T. The wire harnesses I bought had every terminal labeled as to where it was to be attached which was a big help. Whoever you obtain your wire harnesses from will probably include some sort of diagram for installing them and they may use different colored wires which will be your clue as to installation. I would study the wire diagrams very closely before starting and ask questions before installing if you have a question. I would certainly not cut any wire thinking something was wrong before contacting where your harnesses were obtained for clarification. Good luck and a tractor is fairly simple to wire. We wish you the best and come back when you have more questions, Hal.

As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
