I had a pump redone, and although it has been 6 years now, I doubt that the tractor had 100 hours on the pump. I bought some bio-fuel not really knowing about the short shelf life, and as I don't farm any longer it don't get ran too much, so it hardly uses any fuel.. It sat for about a year with a half tank..
I have spent MANY hours cleaning the garbage from the bottom of fuel tank, cleaning lines, changing filters.. and just got the injectors and pump back, with a bill of nearly $800.. The parts didn't cost but $50.. So how many hours did it take them to clean up that pump?? Nearly 10 hours it seems..
That's my experience with the stuff.. You might have better luck.
