Except for the unit serial number, those are all part numbers. Go back and look for date codes, cast in codes that look like (*1.14.Y*). Also, look for the engine sequence number, stamped into the block below #1 spark plug.
The hydraulic part numbers can be found in the online CaseIH Super C catalog (in descriptions).
Hydraulics on the Super C fall into 3 serial number groups.
type 1: 100,001 - 138,891
type 2: 138,892 - 191,866
type 3: 191,867 and up
Your tractors should both be type 2. Your buddy's tractor type 1.
354352Rx appears to be the original block for type 1. I'm not sure, it may have been original in type 2. 357657Rx is a number for type 3. I don't know if it is original or a replacement number.
Bottom line, the hydraulics on your earlier tractor are newer than the serial number. The part number of the earlier engine is earlier than your later tractor's engine. So the engine and serial number probably match. It appreas that your earlier tractor has simply had the hydraulic system replaced.
Date codes will probably tell you if more has been changed than the hydraulics.
Don't go off and use the type 1, 2, 3 designations in some other conversation. Nobody will know what you are refering to! I used those terms only to make this post more clear.
