I have just purchased it and the guy assured me it ran till the rearend froze up(has to be a leak)anyways after getting it thawed,it backfired thats it,he then put a new rotor on it using the old one to match it up etc.I buy it and lots of spark up to cap thats it so thinking he got wrong parts I got new cap&rotorstill the same checked timing etc still nothing, the one off WD9 and the W6 are different,is there a different cap&rotor for different years? Is it possible when coil has some resistence it peters out?The center tit(coil) on cap had the spring burn't out of it also on the original cap.Is there supposed to be a felt washer behind rotor? It also has hydraulic pump in front of mag is the cap always that close to the filter have to take it off to get cap off can't see IH doing that(John Deere maybe I also have an R and I like it). Also have WD9 whats HP etc on these, how about parts(head I know they are scarce).I live in Manitoba,Canada if have one email me or whole tractor# is 1 204 728-0378.THANKS EVERYONE WHO REPLIED GREATLY APPRECIATED IT.
