I had a friend rebuild the carb on my 47 M.He told me he placed all the settings according to the paper that came with the kit.I put it on and after the 2nd try it fired up.I took it down the driveway it started dying then it smoothed out for a little while. I tried to put in in 5th gear at full throttle going down the road it coughed spit and sputtered then almost shut off.I had to sit for a minute to let the engine smooth out. When climbing a small hill in 3rd and 4th it does the same thing. Now it sat overnite and its dripping gas where the choke rod hooks onto plus out of the brass screw with the gasket. I pulled the air cleaner tube off and gas poured out of there also.Sounds like the float isnt set right.?? I did shut the fuel off if you are wondering.hahaha.Its my 1st tractor and iam trying to learn all i can.
