Well, here is what I put in ten 460 and 560 tractors on that improvement field change. New 25 degree angle tooth profile bull gears and bull pinions. New differential case, spider gears and cross, tapered roller bearings on differential and new bull pinion housing to a ccomodate Larger ball bearings on bull pinion shafts. I can't remember for sure if the inner axle bearing was changed to a Bower flat roller at that time or not, but a bearing package was released a couple of years later with again improved bearings. That included different tapered roller bearings for differential, bower roller bearing on pinion shaft and 460 went to bower roller on bull pinion shaft. Also the outside rear axle ball bearing was changed ( to a looser ball fit to allow for deflection of axle and play in axle from the inside roller bearing. Also, a tapered shim on differential to compensate for deflection in differential case under heavy loads. New cap on shift lever with o-ring and breather hole added to shift lever tower as it was previously to breathe through the shift lever cap under spring .
