I am not ruling out timing cause it does want to run but just won't. I removed all the junk and have it set up as a gravity feed system. Good news is that It will fire now with fuel (gas) and not just starter fluid. I drained the bowl and the flooding issue might not be an issue now. It will only fire when I keep the starter button pushed in. Also when it does fire it seems to be missing or firing every other time. It kind of fires in waves or little burst of 2 to 4 times then won't. The last time I checked I was getting good spark at each plug. Now I am not sure if I have a wire or two flip flopped but I am sure I didn't. For the timing I don't know how to set it. I know I can turn the distributor to get it speed up or slow down. All the timing is internal gears. So I have come a baby step forward here and just need my tractor to fire on time with out the starter being held in
