Hi Joe, below are a couple articles from archives about flow divider/splitter valve by Bernard le mécano: The flow divider becomes stuck on the plug end when you turn the steering until relief valve activates. Remove the big plug below the hydraulic filter, remove the flow divider valve and spring, make sure to replace in the same way. The end that stops on the plug is round and square, with a steel saw, make a small groove in the end of the flow divider. That will stop the suction lock, when the valve hits the plug.
The priority valve allows 3 gpm to the steering system. Below the hydraulic filter, it has a big plug, the valve is in that hole. Remove the plug, remove the spring and maybe the valve is stuck all the way up or down. With a fine emery cloth, remove all scratches on the spool until it moves freely in the hole.
Fix for MCV Power Steering flow divider: CIH has a parts kit to replace the flow divider valve, in the MCV. It's a sleeve with a spool in it. It will fix your steering problem. Check with a CASE-IH dealer. Bernard le mécano
