The oil pressure was on the upper end of the gauge, which I think was around 35 to 40 pds.
We did not check the valve clearance. Although I was thinking about this as a problem as to why the compression was off.
When I pulled the head water got into each cyclinder since we did not drain the radiator before pulling things apart. I did see a brown object sittin on top of #4. I vaccuumed the water out and the object sounded like metal going through the vaccuum tube. However there was no marks on the head on #4 to show any obstruction of movement. The piston was also not marked up. I am a little bit concerned about just putting in new gaskets and bolting it back together only to have it happen again and to possibly even damage something else.
