Plus, you still gotta take the mower off, which is bull work no matter how you slice it. That mower deck is HEAVY, and unless you have the front wheels slid WAY out, you can't back over it (wheels hit the spindles or crush the belt).
Frankly, I'm not sure a Cub with a Woods 59 deck is much faster than a dedicated mower with a 42" deck. The Cub will only do 3MPH, while the mower will do 5-6MPH.
If you have any low-hanging trees, you better be quick and flexible. I have cracked my skull and impaled myself in the chest with so many branches I've lost count.
Also stopping and backing up is a huge investment in time. You gotta push the clutch, wait for everything to stop and hope the momentum from the mower doesn't push you into anything, shift, back up, and repeat the process to get headed in the right direction again. I quickly developed a pattern for mowing my lawn that only involved backing up twice. On sharp corners I swing out and make a loop in the other direction.
For wide open areas the Cub makes a great mowing machine. If you have a lot of trees, you might want to hang on to the smaller, more maneuverable machine.
