If it is warmed up 2 to 3 minutes on gasoline, diesel should run as follows: Turn on diesel fuel at tank, bleed both filters. Set the diesel speed lever to 1/4 of travel Quickly move change over lever to diesel. If there is white smoke, the diesel is getting to the engine, if no extra smoke, there is no fuel. If no fuel, check the fuel pressure gauge on the pump. if pressure, then the rack is probably stuck in the pump. (or other issues requiring service) A stuck rack can be repaired With cleaning and solvent to remove varnished up diesel. If it has been more than 2 years sense it ran, I would bet on the stuck rack issue. Bleeding the injectors at the point the line enters the injector can also get some air out of them. Do this while it is coasting down as you try to start it after it is running on gas. Linkage stuck going to the pump might be another problem to make sure the rod is moving going to the injection pump. Jim
