Another option would be to plasma cut the dual rims and plasma cut the M rims and weld the two/three pieces together to make a hybrid rim. I am not sure if it will work with two different kinds of rims. Only the tape measure will tell the truth. I know it will work with two of the same type rims. It is a ton easier than splitting a rim in half and rolling a piece of steel for the opening and rewelding. It is pretty much the same price to widen rims using either method. One you pay for more labor and one you pay for more parts. I personally feel that taking two halves and welding them together looks better than rolling a spacer for the middle.
ANYHOW, I think you should just sell the dual rims and sell the stock rims and buy a set of wide rims. I would try and get you kicked out of a pull for running cobbled together wide rims anyhow. You better at least make them look stock so you can TRY and not get DQed for running wide rims.
Btw, If you are near SE WI/NE IL I am looking for 12" "M" rims. No, that is not why I said you should sell both sets and use the money for new rims...
