Can I run 2 hydraulic pumps off the same fluid reservoir?
I'm ready to mount the PTO driven hydraulic pump on the belt pully drive of my Farmall M, but I think the tank I was going to use for the reservoir is going to be too small (it's a small square hydraulic reservoir that fits under the M's hood, for Bahlen power steering).
The front-loader currently operates off the M&W distributer pump, with the loader's reservoir in the loader's frame.
Can I simply "T" into the existing supply and return lines where they enter the loader's frame for this new pump?
I don't forsee using both pumps at the same time (if that makes any difference).
The loader has open center control valves, and I have another set of open center valves for the belt pully pump.
