I tired to search and find an answer to my question but I must not be using the right combination of words.
Anyway, I have a BN that needs it's engine rebuilt. It still runs but it's tired and needs to be gone through. My question is, depending on what kit I get what kind of HP increase am I looking to get over stock.
Right now it has 3" flat top pistons. According to tractor data that should give it around 18HP.
They list a SA with a C123 and 3 1/8" pistons putting out around 20HP at the same max RPM so I'm assuming a 3 1/8" kit would do about the same in my C113.
So what would a 3 1/8" stepped piston kit give me? 21 - 22HP?
I would love to get a hair over 20HP. I'm not looking into making a pulling machine but a little extra HP would be handy on the PTO.
I'm sure there was some differences in the carb between the SA with the C123 and the A with a C113.
