Disk depends on how good the plates are, maybe 10-12 footer will be fine. Check the diameter of the blades, severely worn ones will not actually do anything and will pull real easy compared to new plates on the same disk.

Most used disks with worn out plates go cheap...might be ok in plowed ground that you only want to level up some, but not so much for any jobs needing an aggressive cut.

I'd take the loader off, easier on front end and with a 2wd 674 less act to have the front end sink in and get stuck if on wet ground.

If you have a 2250 loader on the 674 it would only take a few minutes to take it off, if you don't have a QA loader you might get away with disking with the loader, you might be able to just drop the bucket and leave the arms on the tractor. We do not do any tillage with the loader on our 2wd, fall or spring, you just end up stuck....
