Your problem is, the tractor needs hydraulic pressure to operate the TA. Without that there is no way power will get from the engine to the rear wheels.
If anything is a weak point on these tractors, that's it. Takes 30 years to get there, but when it does, you're dead in the water...
Unfortunately, the pressure plate is probably damaged from the splines letting go, so you will have to replace it. Since you have to replace the pressure plate, you really should replace the clutch too, and for best results with the new clutch, you should have the flywheel resurfaced.
