I have a 9 shank glencoe in sw wisconsin and my 190hp 1466 wont pull it, not enough traction. But glencoes usually pull hard and we have rolling hills. Takes alot of power and traction to stay on the countour. JD 4850 MFWD pulled it at 7 mph on the flat. now I have an JD 8400 with 280 hp and I can pull it anywhere at 8 mph. Does a better job at higher speed. but again I dont have the flat land and good soil like in iowa.
