It's possible to plow with these with the drawbar ridgidly attached. That is not using the bar that goes to the rockshaft to adjust the fore and aft tilt. I used one of these plows for years that way because my plow was missing the needed bar. I adjusted the drawbar to the lowest adjustment hole. Once you get started, that may make to plow go too deep, but you can adjust that with the rear touch control to keep it from going too deep. Also, be aware that it takes two or three passes to get started plowint at normal depth. The plow will go a little deeper each pass until it reaches it's normal depth. That's because the side to side tilt changes as furrow wheel runs in the deeper furrow. The side to side tilt of the plow is adjusted using eccentric bolts that are located where the hitch attaches to the plow beam.
