SA Mounted Plow

I have a SA that I want to put a mounted plow on. I know the drawbar must be turned around, must the DB brackets also be turned around? Also does the DB + brackets stay at the rear of the final drives or move to the front holes? I can probably figure this out , but all knowledgable opinions would be greatly appreciated. I had a A but that was different. Thanks in advance.

I think you just turn the draw bar around and you leave the brackets right where they are. I dont have a plow like that mine are all fast hitch ones. There is also a bar that goes to the hydrolics on the rock shaft. Erik..

Brackets also turn around to the front. When you get your plow it will be easy to figure out the drawbar so the plow fits and lines up for the rockshaft to lift the plow cause itf the drawbar isnt mounted correct the plow wont hook to the linkage.

The drawbar turns around and mounts to the front holes on the final drives. It must be left free to pivot up and down.

There's a bar that runs from the center hole on the drawbar up to the right arm on the touch control. That controls the depth of the plow by lifting and lowering the drawbar, changing the angle that the plow makes with the ground.

It's possible to plow with these with the drawbar ridgidly attached. That is not using the bar that goes to the rockshaft to adjust the fore and aft tilt. I used one of these plows for years that way because my plow was missing the needed bar. I adjusted the drawbar to the lowest adjustment hole. Once you get started, that may make to plow go too deep, but you can adjust that with the rear touch control to keep it from going too deep. Also, be aware that it takes two or three passes to get started plowint at normal depth. The plow will go a little deeper each pass until it reaches it's normal depth. That's because the side to side tilt changes as furrow wheel runs in the deeper furrow. The side to side tilt of the plow is adjusted using eccentric bolts that are located where the hitch attaches to the plow beam.
