This gets interesting. This is really a question to anyone who can walk out and look at their (working) 340. I bet almost any tel-a-depth machine will match.

I welded together and rebuilt my item #9. It had been rusted solid, and twisted off, some pipe wrench work before me. Item #11 is interesting it has an offset location where it bolts to #24, using shoulder bolt #22. Item #11 and item #2 are the action parts of the system, and they are both pinned to #9 with cold-rolled pins.
Question 1, since my #9 was in pieces, I'm unsure correct rebuild. So when the lever #2 is vertical, and rockshaft is rotated to lift the hitch full up, what location is the offset bolt #22 on the small wheel #11? Is it 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock? Maybe a little offset one way or other? Seems this will completely affect the way the thing works.
Question 2; the drawing shows link #21 connects to lower end of item #24. I could flip #24 around, but I think the drawing is correct. Does this agree with your working units?
With this information, I then need to make items #28, #27, and #25.
