Yep, the ice cream factory is still rummaging around in my mind. I bought some stuff to make that happen. I don't have a picture but it is a SS ice cream storage and vending unit with a soda fountain. It's all very compact and could plug into the front or rear fast hitch. It even has the NSC (?) sticker. That's a food service equipment approval agency.
I'd let everybody make their own concoction and charge by the ounce. If all they wanted was a full cup of hot fudge sauce with nuts on top, so be it.
I went to the annual Dublin, NH engine meet last month. The fire dept runs a twenty (or is it thirty ?) quart freezer with a 10 hp hit and miss engine. They only make vanilla and it is pretty bland. I know I could do better with half a dozen or more six quart freezers all running with interesting drivers. Y'know, belt drives, shaft drives, air motors, electric motors, hydraulic motors, right angle drives, planetarys, variable speed drives with governors, etc. I'm sure the ice cream patrons would come up with some additional interesting ideas. You might say it could be a hands-on gastronomic educational experience. Of course, it might get to be too "hands-on" and I would have to rap their knuckles with a switch. So be that as well.
