Ya know, I purchased that old VR at TSC, hooked it up, it worked, parked the machine, came back to it a month or so later, it worked, parked it again, came back to it and it wouldn't work, banged on the cover and it would work intermittently.
I just figured something else was going bad and just couldn't admit to myself that something that was basically brand new, never been crosswired, zapped, or even used more than a few hours and worked for a while would give trouble.
Wouldn't you know that I went to start up a ford 5000 today with a TSC 950 CCA Traveler battery in it and the thing was flat dead and the batt cable stays off the battery when its just sitting there, dont need any barn fires.
Guess I'm done with TSC for a while unless its some hitch pins or clips or something. Stinking imported cheap junk.
After all this, it's got me wondering if there still isn't a problem somewhere and this new one will poop out after a while, time will tell I guess.
I'm good at allot of things but destruction is my specialty.
