Nearly all the H and M tractors sent to the UK from 1939 to 1949 were wide front tractors. I have a 1945 H and a 1949 M and they are both wide fronts. The few 3 wheelers that came herh were fitted with a single front wheel. All the wide front tractors had the axle set in the rear position and i think this was done to get more tractors on the ships.
