So, I've gotten the carb of the tractor and I have very little new information, though I have some better pictures, which you can see below and which relate to my questions and answers to your questions:
The round tag on my carb is blank!
The only other thing I can find, besides "ZENITH" stamed on both sides is a small "2" stamped on the side which you can see in the picture below (circled in case it wasn't obvious.)
Also, the small crack below the "jet passage plug" is visible in the first few threads inside if I unscrew the plug, though not apparently into the operational part of the carb. Do you think that's a big enough problem that I need a new carb rather than trying to refurb this one? The area above and to the right of the crack has obviously been brazed/welded before as well. Part of me thinks get a new one and part of me thinks that much of the fun of having an old tractor is making it run with as many of the old parts as possible!
