today, when I arrived at the CaseIH dealer. The manifold heater block I ordered from Parts Depot came in. It was sitting in a PD box when it was set in front of me. I glanced at it & put it back in the box with the paper. The clamp was also included. This means it was the kit. I then noticed the box within the box. The inner box is an IH box. Low & behold, the paper I thought was for shipping, turned out to be the blueprint instructions & the packing list dated 10-29-56. I found the hardware package under an unmarked parts bag. I don't think the hardware package has seen the light of day since it was sent out. A shame it's beat up. Due to the hole in it, I found all the hardware listed on the packing sheet. Ahhh! I feel better now that I had a minute to share todays joy with those who understand the importance of such a find. Everyone around the house just wonders why I'm rambling like an idiot about an old part, box & ratty papers. Thanks for understanding - Mike
P.S. Please excuse the quality of the first pic. My camera isn't quite dead yet, but it's mind is going. It thinks it has an old roll of Ektachrome in it.
P.P.S. Does anyone have the service bulletin for this application or any info on what necessitates it's attachment.
