Ok guys I have talked with several of you before and I do not want to here to go through the trouble shooting guide I have it and its helpful. But I remember Janicholson telling me how to adjust my VR by adjusting the spring tension on the little coil to change the charging output. Anyway I installed an aftermarket generator/hyd unit all in one on my Farmall A. Its an old Chrylser generator with HYd to lift the old convertable tops. Anyway that doesn't matter. I installed a VR that I had and it once I pulled the cap and adjust the spring tension it started charging at about 12amps. I installed the cover and it stops charging, take cover off it charges. I remember Janicholson telling me the cover may cause the magnatism to change. Is there anything I can do so that when I have the cover on the vr will work? Thanks for any help. Chad
