I have a 47 Super A that smokes a lot at start up. After about 20 to 30 seconds it clears up and you do not see any additional smoke. This leads me to believe that the oil is leaking down the valve guides. Have not done a compression test on the tractor. Does this mean I need to grind the valves and have the seals on the valve guides done. What are the recommendations on correcting this?
