Thanks Fellas! The seat post was bent due to a roll-over. Sadly, the gentleman that was on the tractor was killed - I bought the tractor from his widow and I vowed to restore it. She's almost ready for paint and a nice brass plaque to honor the previous owner - may he rest in peace. The seat post was damaged in the accident and was bound to fail - it was a wee bit crazy that it broke while I was hauling-the-mail on the road. Lesson learned. Thanks again for your concern and advice.
