I just hooked up the amp guage but does not move one way or the other and is a brand new guage. I have the wire coming from the one wire alt. attached to the amp meter on the discharge side? I have the wire coming from the start side the push button switch, not the battery side as previous mentioned, to the discharge side of the guage. The back of the new guage did not have a plus or minus at either termanial. I know this can not be rocket science, but it has me stumped.
