hi. ive just spent the last year and half restoring my super h . it ran fine other than it was getting a little weak when i started the over haul project, i rebuilt the carb but i had trouble getting it started, it was starving for gas, but gas would run out of the carb when it wasnt running. took it apart again and it looked like the gasket on the bowl was slightly covering one of the ports in the center of the bowl, bought another kit and rebuilt it again , now it starts but i cant get it adjusted and it runs rich all the time no matter what i do, still has gas running out of the carb, buy a new float, try setting it to 1 3/8 inch even, still leaking gas. if i turn off the gas while its running it stops running rich . i can turn the high speed needle all the way in or three turns out and it doesnt make a difference. i took it out and tryed disking with it , part of the time it would run rich and blow black smoke and other times i had to run it with the choke out to keep it running.anybody have any ideas , ready to take the carb off and throw it in the river
