more "n likely the internal threads are wore out, which is why the pipe was welded in. if you dont want to spring for a new manifold and pipe, and the old manifold is still good. i"d clean up the welds with a die grinder, maybe puddle a little more weld on, then grind it all smooth and call er a day. prolly a lil time in the blast cabinet and squirt of paint would purdy er up a little. (okay, okay, i"ll give ya hundert and fity for the h, in small unmarked bills!!!!)
