And what is wrong with running a gasser for field work . As long as ya run hightest or 93 octane in it keep it in tune myself i would not have a problem with it and neither do several of my close friends that are running 706 gassers with 291's in them and they get worked . Now granted we are no longer pulling the plow with them as that job is now in the hands of the 1066 at one farm and the 2255 OIL ALL OVER at the other farm But if the 1066 went down don't think for a moment that the old 4 bottoms would not come out of the weeds and would take over till i got the bigger tractor back up and running. There is a lot of work to be done to put a diesel in a gasser more then ya think.
