First off there is alot that comes into play here , What is the 1466 putting out now for Hp. i'll bet ya a dollar to a donut that she is NOT at factory spec's . Are the injectors in good shape ??? is the pump timing dead on or + a couple degrees???? is the turbo putting out the correct amount of boost ???? is the air filter clean ??? A 1466 is just a wee bit large for a chore tractor and yes i know it is what ya have to work with . If ya could afford a 806 thru a 966 they may be a better chose . A newer tractor that has a 5.9 cumming would do better on fuel . As for turning down the wick on the 14 i do not think that you would gain anything as the mixer wagon is not really loading that tractor to the point that she is going into full fuel mode . Where as a 75 horse tractor is working hard on this job and i am aware of what a mixer wagon takes to do the job . My one good friend has the same thing and is running his with a OIL ALL OVER that this past summer we installed a BT3.9 cumming into it out of a bread truck and it is doing a fine job, now as to what the Hp. of that engine is i can not honestly tell ya maybe around 110-120 as she does have some smoke to her., but i do know that it is doing alot better then the 706 291 gasser did .
