I have fixed several and it is not that big of a deal to do . Ya just cut out the old and have a new piece made up and when ya are cutting out the old one it is most critical that you do not over cut and inlarge the org. hole in the tube . once ya have the old bushing or tune cut out chamfer out around at about a 45 degree angle and weld in the new tube with good penetration weld , myself i run 7018 for rod . It is wise to order in a new axle pin so that the machine shop can fit it . The pin is where the grease fitting is so there is no need to try and install a fitting in the bushing. a bushing with about a 1/4 inch wall will be enough .
