Thanks for the help. On puller IH dealer thinks they have one that will work.Sounds like 1# hammer works for you. Use it the best one made.
I have seals ordered from fordson house and Darrell at Alderson tractor is watching for gas manifold. All nice people.
Thanks again
Gas manifold, with exhaust through the hood? One of those should turn up quick enough.
However if you have two-bolt-side mount carburator (probably not, since you specified "gas manifold") and want to be creative [I've never seen this done, but assume some farmers must have tried it being envious of their neighbor with upgrades from a P300, but too frugal to buy the parts]:
I know of someone with a combination manifold that is nasty on the bottom kerosene exhuast route, but looks to be good yet on the intake and gas side.
Someone with a pre-heat oven and good at welding cast could cap the exhaust routing for the kero. If you're coming through the top [rather than in front of the air cleaner], it would be really fun to see an adaptor & exhaust pipe bolted in place of the to selector plate and the gas exhaust route capped too. That noted, unless you're doing the work yourself - this would add up $$$ far quicker than the gas manifold!

You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
