Well, Guess I'm facein' a "DE LIMMER" as some folks would say it. My 251069 Super A block is good, I doubt if the crank could be turned so if I rebuild it , it needs everything includin' crank, rods, pistons, rings, sleeves, cam and cam bearin's, head worked over...etc..Super C block layin' on the shop floor....completly gone thru 50 or so hours (3 years )ago before the old gentleman broke it. It has a 240 head on it , when We loaded the engine the old Man said "Damm, I hated breakin that engine, I pulled that tractor a menya time, never was beat".
So what do I do now.....I've got a 240 UTILITY..engine is weak. Could I put the Super C guts in the 240 block and put it in My Super A.
I need this Super A runnin'in time to truckpatch this spring.But....I've got a strong A.....ARMSTRONG LIFT, just not as handy as a Super A. I use My 504 Diesel to plow disc and subsoil....Hard to beat an A and a Super A for cultivatein'

Wild Bill
