If you get new manuals from CaseIH, they generally have a cover that looks like their current manuals. A reprint from Binder usually has a cover that matches the time frame of the original manual. IH used several different colors at different times, some depending on the type of manual. Original Parts Catalogs from IH were bound or 3-hole punched. I haven't found any rule on when which was used. It may be that dealers could order them either way. I have samples from the same general time frames that were done each way. From what I have seen, it appears that Binder's reprints are (at least usually) the latest revision, which is what you will get on a new order from CaseIH. If you find an old original manual, it may be any version. Sometimes it is helpful to have both the latest revision and one from as close as you can find to the date your machine was built.
